Chapter 6 – The First Sign

It was a stormy night. Thunder rattled the windowpanes, and Meera woke screaming from a nightmare.

Aditi rushed her to Aditya’s room, thinking it might comfort her. As she soothed the child, she noticed it — the faintest twitch in his fingers.

Her heart thudded. She leaned closer. Nothing.

But over the next days, she noticed more — a flicker under his eyelids when she read, a slight change in breathing when Meera giggled.

She didn’t dare hope… but hope was already blooming.
