Chapter 10 – The Mansion Feels Alive

The Rathore mansion, once a house of shadows, began to hum with life again. Laughter in the corridors, clinking of plates from the kitchen, soft piano music in the evenings.

Aditi found herself enjoying these moments — cooking with Meera while Aditya sat nearby, telling childhood stories; evenings in the garden with all three of them watching the sunset.

But she still kept a wall inside.

"This isn’t real," she reminded herself. "We’re bound by paper, not love."

Yet, sometimes, when his gaze lingered on her a second too long, she felt the wall tremble.
