Every news channel, business blog, and social media platform exploded. Paparazzi hounded both families. Designers were lined up. Wedding planners fought for contracts. What the world saw was a royal love story. What the bride and groom felt was very different.

Behind closed doors, Aditya and Aditi met briefly.

“Let’s just get this over with,” Aditya said curtly.

“You don’t have to like me,” Aditi replied coolly. “But don’t underestimate me.”

He raised an eyebrow. “I already don’t.”
