Unspoken Sparks - Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Return of the King

The grand building of Raychand Industries, Mumbai’s most elite corporate powerhouse, buzzed with tension and excitement. The air was thicker than usual—rumors flew faster than emails.

After five long years, Aditya Raychand, the enigmatic and fiercely private business magnate, had finally returned from London. He hadn’t just expanded his empire internationally—he’d conquered it. Now, he was back to reclaim his throne in the Indian headquarters.

Inside the HR cabin, whispers grew louder.

“Did you see the security team? He’s here already, I swear!”
“They say he doesn’t even smile—too intense!”
“Why is Aditi Sharma being made his PA? Of all people!”

Aditi, sitting calmly at her usual desk, ignored the chaos. She typed away, reviewing quarterly reports like it was just another Tuesday. Her long dark hair was tied in a neat ponytail, minimal makeup, crisp blue shirt tucked into charcoal slacks. She didn’t look like someone who’d caught the boss’s attention—yet, she had.

She wasn’t chosen because of any office gossip or favoritism.

She was chosen… because her work spoke louder than anyone’s charm.

Aditi didn’t blink when HR broke the news. “Mr. Raychand has personally approved your profile. Effective tomorrow, you’ll begin as his PA.”

She only gave a nod and replied, “Alright. I’ll start prepping.”

Later That Evening – Raychand Industries, Top Floor

Aditya stepped out of the elevator. Tall, sharp, and composed, in a tailored black suit. The king had returned—with colder eyes, a deeper voice, and more power than ever.

He scanned his new cabin. Everything was perfect. Minimalist. Efficient. Just like him.

“Sir, your PA will join from tomorrow,” his executive informed.

Aditya didn’t look up. “What’s her name?”

“Aditi Sharma.”

For a second—just a flicker—his eyes paused on the name. But then he simply said, “Fine. I don’t want small talkers or time-wasters.”

The Next Morning – 9:00 AM Sharp

Aditi entered his cabin. Knocked once, calm and composed.

He looked up, expecting someone overly enthusiastic. Instead, he saw her.

She greeted, “Good morning, Mr. Raychand. I'm Aditi Sharma.”

For a moment, Aditya said nothing. She stood still—shoulders squared, file in hand, a perfect blend of grace and quiet confidence.

His eyes lingered. She was beautiful, yes. But not the kind who flaunted it. Her vibe was unreadable, and that… intrigued him.

“Good. I don’t like delays,” he said.

“I don’t allow them,” she replied smoothly, placing the schedule on his desk.

Aditya raised an eyebrow. Interesting.

That Day Moved Like a Chess Game

She followed orders precisely. No chit-chat, no flattery. Just results.

At lunch, she didn’t join the others. She quietly sat in the breakroom corner, reading a book while sipping black coffee.

Aditya, on the other hand, noticed. He was not a man used to being ignored—especially by someone working so close to him.

That night, as he reviewed her credentials and old evaluations, he found something rare.

Discipline. Resilience. No office complaints. No involvement in internal matters. Just results.

He leaned back in his chair and murmured to himself—

“Who exactly are you, Ms. Sharma?”
