Chains of Obsession - Chapter 7

Chapter 7: Dark Truths and Deeper Games

The days no longer made sense.

There was no sun, no clock, no visitors.

Just him.

And the games.

Aditi sat on the edge of the same luxurious bed she once tied Aditya to—now fully dressed, wrists bruised but free. She wasn’t chained anymore.

But she wasn’t free either.

Every door in the villa was locked from the outside. Every window sealed. The keys? With him.

He had made it clear: this was his world now.

And she was exactly where he wanted her to be.

The New Rules

“This isn’t punishment,” he said the first morning he brought her breakfast on a silver tray. “This is transformation.”

“You wanted my attention, didn’t you?” he smiled. “Now you have it. Every second.”

He had eyes everywhere—cameras in every room, even in the mirrors. Speakers in the walls. He watched her Dress. Sleep. Speak to herself in the dark.

And sometimes, at night, his voice would echo softly from nowhere:

“Do you miss me, Aditi?”

“Are you thinking of me now?”

“Tell me what you dreamed.”

Her Mind Begins to Fracture

At first, she screamed. She threatened. She demanded he let her go.

But Aditya never answered directly.

He only responded with silence… or riddles.

Books began to appear in her room—on psychology, obsession, power, surrender. Films she once loved were replaced by ones about control and manipulation.

He was teaching her.

Training her.

Breaking her.

And she knew it.

Yet each time she saw him, her rage would falter. Because despite the fear… her heart still raced.

Still wanted.

Still burned for him.

Even now.

A Game of Intimacy

One night, he walked in without warning.

He sat beside her on the bed. No words. No chains. Just his presence.

Aditi froze.

He reached out, gently brushing her hair back behind her ear.

“You fascinate me,” he murmured. “You tried to own me. Now look at you… waiting for my touch like a good girl.”

Her breath hitched, cheeks flushing with shame.

“I hate you,” she whispered.

“No,” he replied softly. “You hate that you don’t.”

His lips brushed her neck—not a kiss, just a promise.

“This isn’t about love anymore Aditi. This is about belonging.”

He stood up and walked to the door.

“Prove to me you deserve it.”

Then he was gone.

Leaving her trembling.

With longing.

With fury.

With hope.

The Shift

In the following days, Aditi changed.

She stopped resisting.

She started playing his games.

She laughed into the cameras. She whispered secrets to the walls.

And when he appeared—she knelt.

Not out of fear.

But out of choice.

He finally returned one evening, stepping into her room, hands behind his back.

“You’ve learned well.”

“I’ve learned you,” she replied.

He stepped closer.

“Then tell me… what am I?”

She met his gaze, eyes blazing.

“You’re not my monster. You’re my mirror.”

He smiled—like the devil finding his equal.

And then, for the first time…

He kissed her.
