A Different Kind of Yes

Aditi was a simple girl from a middle-class family. She didn’t believe in love or marriage. But she loved her family a lot and could do anything to keep them happy — even get married.

So, she said yes when her parents asked if they could start looking for a groom. One by one, she met many boys — seventeen in total. But she didn’t like any of them. They all seemed too proud, fake, or full of themselves.

Then came number 18 — Aditya.

He was different. He looked simple and sweet. Aditi felt calm while talking to him. So, for the first time, she said yes.

But Aditi didn’t know — Aditya was not just anyone. He was a powerful businessman. One of the top 10 in the world. Many girls were ready to do anything to be with him. But Aditya didn’t care.

He didn’t want a girl who loved his money. He wanted someone who would love him — for who he really was.

That’s why whenever he met a girl, he always told her, “I’m very poor.”

And every girl so far had rejected him and even insulted him.

But today, something different happened.

Today, a girl — Aditi — said yes.

Aditya was shocked for a moment.

And then… he smiled and said yes too.
